Register the device in IoT Device Simulator

For demonstration purposes, a simulator is used rather than an actual device. You must register the device in IoT Device Simulator so that messages sent by the simulator are mapped correctly to the right set of devices and interpreted accurately by Oracle Internet of Things Cloud Service and Oracle Service Cloud.

1. In IoT Device Simulator, click Add New Device.

2. Complete the following fields:

   Field	Value
   Simulator Type	HVAC
   Device ID	Device ID from the previous procedure
   Activation Secret	Activation Secret from the previous procedure

3. Click Add Device.

   The device is created and registered in the simulator.
