Software requirements

You must have the following Oracle applications deployed before implementing the integration between Oracle Service Cloud and Oracle Internet of Things Cloud Service.

The following table describes the Oracle software required.

Oracle Internet of Things Cloud Service Version 16.3.3.1.0 or higher

Oracle Internet of Things Cloud Service is a secure and scalable platform to help organizations quickly build and deploy Internet of Things (IoT) applications. It is a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offering that allows customers to gain new data-driven insights and initiate actions by collecting their device data, analyzing it, and finally integrating it into various business processes.

Oracle Integration Cloud Service Version 16.4.1 or higher

Oracle Integration Cloud Service is a cloud-based offering that simplifies development of integrations between your applications in the cloud and between applications in the cloud and on premise, all without needing to write code or install and manage infrastructure or middleware.

In the implementation explained in this document, Oracle Integration Cloud Service acts as the broker between Oracle Internet of Things Cloud Service and Oracle Service Cloud.

Oracle Service Cloud November 2016 or later

Oracle Service Cloud is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering that combines web, social, and contact center experiences for a unified, cross-channel service solution, allowing organizations to increase sales and adoption, build trust and strengthen relationships, and reduce costs and effort.

You must also have the third-party software described in the following table.
