About device registration

For the integration to function successfully, the device that is sending the message must be “known” to Oracle Internet of Things Cloud Service and Oracle Service Cloud. Additionally, because the integration uses a simulator for development purposes, the device must be known to the IoT Device Simulator.

To make the device known, you must register it as:

• An active asset in Oracle Service Cloud

• A device in Oracle Internet of Things Cloud Service

• A device in the IoT Device Simulator
