Create the asset in Oracle Service Cloud

You must register the device as an asset in Oracle Service Cloud to receive and process messages from that device.

1. Select File > Asset to create a new asset.

2. In the New Asset editor, complete the following fields:

   Field	Description
   Name	Enter the name of the device.
   Product	Select the product that you created in the previous procedure.
   Serial Number	Enter a unique serial number for the device.
   Contact	Specify a contact for the asset.
   Status	Set the status to Active.

3. Click Save & Close to save the asset and close the New Asset editor.
