Create the custom fields

You must create custom fields in the Incident object for the Oracle Social Cloud Accelerator.

Before you begin

About this task


  1. Click Configuration on the navigation pane.
  2. Double-click Custom Fields under Database.
    The content pane displays the Custom Fields tree.
  3. Click Incident in the Custom Fields tree, then click New on the ribbon.
  4. In the Custom Fields editor:
    1. Enter SRM_custom_attributes in the Name field.
    2. Click the Data Type drop-down menu and select Text Field.
      The Data Details fields appear.
    3. Enter 255 in the Size of Field field.
    4. Enter SRM_custom_attributes in the Column Name field.
    5. Click Save.
      The new custom field appears under Incident.
  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for the following fields:
    Name Data Type Size of Field Column Name
    SRM_social_channel_type Text Field 255 SRM_social_channel_type
    SRM_initial_post_date Date/Time Not applicable

    (Data Details do not display for Date/Time fields)
