Tasks

Procedure

  1. Tap Tasks in the Springboard.

    The My Tasks list appears.

  2. Tap the Search icon to search for tasks.



  3. Tap a task to view its details.



  4. Tap the Edit icon to add information to the task.

  5. You can change the status of the task by using the Status drop-down menu and its completion percentage by using the Percent Complete slider.

    The Status and Percent Complete settings affect each other. The following table shows their relationship.
    Status Percent Complete
    Not Started 0
    In Progress 0 < percentage < 100
    Deferred, Waiting < 100
    Completed 100

  6. Tap Save to save the changes, or Cancel to discard the changes.

  7. Tap the Notes icon at the bottom of the screen to view or add notes for the task.

  8. Tap the Add icon to create a new note.



    1. Enter the note text and select a channel.

    2. Tap Save to save the new note, or Cancel to discard it.

  9. Tap the Back icon twice to return to the Task Summary screen, and then to the My Tasks list.

    We do not recommend using the device Back button on Android devices.

  10. Tap the Add icon to create a new task.

    1. Fill in the fields.

    2. Select a task type if desired.

      If you choose Incidents, Organizations, or Contacts, you will be required to associate a record of that type under Additional Information. In this example, an incident is now required, indicated by the red dot next to Incident.

    3. Tap Save to save the new task, or Cancel to discard it.
