Configure Android push notifications

You send Android push notifications using the Google Cloud Messaging API.

Perform the following tasks to configure Android push notifications:

• Configure the Google Cloud Messaging API.

• Create the custom configuration setting.

• Configure the mobile application for Android push notifications.

• Import the gcm_token custom field.

  This is done when you Import the Mobile Accelerator custom objects and Deploy the Mobile Accelerator custom objects.

• Create and deploy the event handler.

• Create the business rule.
