Create a folder for the message bases

You must create a folder to contain the message bases that you will import.

About this task

If you do not create a folder, you will not be able to import the message bases. To create a folder, you must start to create a new message base.

Procedure

  1. Click Configuration on the navigation pane.
  2. Expand Site Configuration, then double-click Message Bases .
  3. Click Cancel in the Search window.
  4. Click New on the ribbon.
  5. Click the Search icon in the Folder field.
  6. Right-click Custom in the Select an Item window.
  7. Enter a folder name, such as CTI Accelerator, then click OK.
  8. Click the Close Tab icon to cancel the new message base.
  9. Close the Messages Bases editor.

Results

If you reopen the Message Bases editor, you will see CTI Accelerator under Custom in the search filters.
