What does the roadmap look like for Glassfish V3 in light of the Oracle acquisition? I'd like to hear a rebuttal to this:
http://blogs.jboss.org/blog/mlittle/2010/01/29/Were_still_the_home_of_open_source.txt
Is Glassfish V3 really going to be only a reference implementation and never get clustering features as Mark Little at JBoss implies?
This:
http://washingtontechnology.com/Articles/2010/01/28/Oracle-Sun-intergration-plan.aspx?s=wtdaily_290110&Page=1
sounds like the meeting he attended. One of the summary points is that Glassfish will be a "departmental" solution, as opposed to an "enterprise" solution. What does that mean?
Where can I get more information about the plans for Glassfish?
Thanks,
Jim
