Software requirements
You must have the following Oracle applications deployed before implementing the Oracle Social Cloud Accelerator.
The following table describes the Oracle software required.

Oracle Service Cloud | November 2016 or later. Earlier versions might work, but could
need additional configuration or upgrades. Oracle Service Cloud is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering that combines web, social, and contact center experiences for a unified, cross-channel service solution, allowing organizations to increase sales and adoption, build trust and strengthen relationships, and reduce costs and effort. |
Oracle Social Cloud Engage | Oracle Social Cloud Engage displays message content from your social network pages or accounts and your tracked topics, and lets you perform actions on those messages. For example, you can see the number of likes and comments for a Facebook post, or assign a message to another person on your account so they can take action on it. |
REST API for Oracle Social Cloud | The Oracle Social Cloud Developer Platform is
a REST API that allows you to access, respond to, update, and delete
your social network messages and access, create, update, and delete
your posts to social networks. The API also includes advanced features,
like accessing messages from non-social sites such as message boards,
forums, blogs, review sites and more. Note: You must file a service
request with the Oracle Social Cloud Helpdesk through My Oracle Support
to get the OAuth settings for the REST API for Oracle Social Cloud.
Oracle Service Cloud Customer Care is not able to assist with this
