Check under Windows->Preferences->Server->Runtime Environments. Select Glassfish and click edit. Check that the JRE listed there is a 1.6 JDK (not JRE).
If you haven't got a JDK listed there you can add it under Windows->Preferences->Java->Installed JREs.
