The integrations that were imported
in the previous section automatically created REST API connections
to Oracle IoT Cloud Service, Oracle Engagement Cloud, and Oracle Service
Cloud. However, those connections must be configured with demo environments
prior to using this accelerator. The following steps will guide you
through the configuration process for all connections.
Procedure
- Click on
the hamburger menu at the top of the page to expand the OIC navigation
tools and select Connections. The three
connections that were imported as part of the integration display
in the connections list.
Note:
Click the hamburger menu button again to hide the side panel, which
will provide more viewing room for the connections.
- To configure the IoT Cloud Service REST connection, click the hamburger menu on the same row as AR IoT Cloud Service
REST to expand the options menu and select Edit.
- Click the
Configure Connectivity button and a modal window will display. Update
the Connection URL field with the proper URL for the OIC instance
that you recorded when configuring OIC in the previous instructions
and click OK.
- Scroll down
on the Connections page and click the Configure
Security button. A modal window will open. Update the Username and Password fields with the service user account that has permissions
to make API calls to the IoT Cloud Service.
- At the top
of the Connections page, click the Test button to verify that the settings you entered are functional. If
a success message displays, click Close to exit the connection. If an error appears, it most likely due
to an incorrect URL or username/password.
- Repeat the
above steps for both the AR Engagement Cloud
REST and AR Service Cloud REST connections, using the applicable URLs and credentials that you recorded for
those services in the previous sections.
What to do next
The next
task is to configure integrations to all Oracle Cloud services.
