App UI

The application UI is separated into the following sections to keep organization logical.

• The buttons on the right of the app are global. They perform the same task regardless of where the user has interacted with the AR experience.

• The Parts Context Pane on the left will appear when a node is selected. The information provided in the pane is contextual, meaning that the data and the buttons that appear are based on how the application has been configured to interact with the selected node. Much of this content comes from the ARNodeContext model. This section can be resized by using the handle on the right.

• The Procedures pane will appear on the bottom of the screen when a procedure is initiated. Procedures are also contextual in that the data is from the ARProcedure model. The ARProcedure model defines all of the content, such as text, images, and animation steps, that are applied to a model during a given procedure.
