Yes, you need to create the database itself. But MQ will create all the
necessary tables.

The message "The method setHARequired is not present in the class :
com.sun.messaging.jms.ra.ResourceAdapter" seems very odd. What version of
GlassFish are you using?

It appears that you're trying to configure your GlassFish cluster to use a
cluster of "local" MQ brokers (i.e. each broker in a separate process)
running in "enhanced" (high data availability) mode.

If that's the case then the documentation is here, if you haven't already
found it:
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E18930_01/html/821-2426/abdbx.html#gktfl

This states "Perform the following steps after you have created the GlassFish
Server cluster, but before you have added instances to the cluster or started
the cluster."
(It sounds as if that's what you're doing)

If you followed these instructions then please report what error(s) you saw
in the server log(s) for the GlassFish instance(s). If you the Glassfish
instances got as far as starting their local MQ brokers, please report what
error(s) you saw in the corresponding broker logs.
