The GlassFish version bundled with NetBeans 7.0 should be the released 3.1
from the link you mentioned. During a domain start-up GlassFish writes
which build it is into its server.log file. Look for a line that looks
like:
[#|2011-05-04T08:36:33.955-0500|INFO|glassfish3.1|null|_ThreadID=1;_ThreadName=Thread-1;|Running
GlassFish Version: GlassFish Server Open Source Edition 3.1 (build 43)|#]
The key part is "3.1 (build 43)."
The ideal way to diagnose the problem would be for you to send me a simple
app that illustrates the problem. Another alternative would be for you to
e-mail me your app privately, although for obvious reasons people aren't
always able to do that. If you can, feel free to send it to tim dot
quinn. The domain is oracle dot com.
But before that, were there any errors logged to server.log during the
deployment?
