Thanks for the suggestion. I have tried to implement this several ways (adding the -vm in eclipse.ini and the shortcut -in all permutations-) but it did not help. Either Eclipse or the add-on refuses to acknowledge my JDKs existence.
I remain patiently waiting for a solution.
