In the Glassfish admin console, the HTTP listener is set to port 8080 on
0.0.0.0
If I changed this to my IP address, such as 129.165.123.456, I do not get redirected to localhost.
However, the help text on the HTTP connector page states that 0.0.0.0 is a valid entry.
And because my computer gets it's IP address from DHCP, I can't really "hard code" an IP address for the HTTP connector.
