Hello Chris,
> I guess myhost.example.com is an alias for localhost.
No. My computer has a FQDN and an IP address on the network at my company.
My /etc/hosts file has the standard localhost alias:
127.0.0.1 localhost
I can access the Glassfish welcome page, by browsing to
http://myhost.example.com:8080
, both locally on the computer and from an external computer.
I can run the Glassfish admin console OK, by browsing to
http://myhost.example.com:4848
, both locally on the computer and from an external computer.
However, if I browse to
http://myhost.example.com:8080/opensso
, the browser redirects to
http://localhost:8080/opensso
. I can then access openSSO from the local computer. But cannot access openSSO from an external computer.
Mike
