That's useful feedback
Your assumption between GF and SJS AS is correct right now. The
situation could change in the interim between GFv2 and GFv3 'fcs'. GFv3
is a big change to the GF code base. The natural progression goes
"kernel", then "web tier", "web services", full Java EE AS.
There will be a time where we could have the pieces for a pretty stable
web tier / scripting / web services container that is extremely
competitive with Tomcat, but not yet have the rest of the SJS AS
functionality ported.
Conceptually, at that point, one could differentiate between providing
SJS AS support and providing GF v3 support.
And, reaffirming your understanding. Today, SJSAS 9.1 is just the Sun
support train for GFv2.
