Good question.
Simple answer:
Among other things, "ant -f setup-cluster.xml" is a custom wrapper over
"asadmin create-domain --profile cluster ...".
With the former, various values are defaulted, with the latter several things can be provided to
the command (e.g. admin user name, password, ports ...). The created domains are identical,
apart from the customizations that you provide.
