In the Required JDK Version section of Sun GlassFish Enterprise Server
v3 Preview Release Notes,
http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/820-7688/giqxv?a=view
it says:
Required JDK Version

release 6.
The minimum (and certified) version of the JDK software that is
required for Enterprise Server depends on the operating system:
- For supported operating systems except MacOS, the minimum

Hi,
I tried starting a domain of a GF v3 Preview build with JDK5.
The command fails (checked with both b52 and b53) with the following
message:
=========================
./asadmin start-domain
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/xml/stream/XMLStreamException
Command start-domain failed.
=========================
Have filed an issue [1] reporting the same.
