Hi
My java.net username is petermuir, and I live in Edinburgh, Scotland. I work for Red Hat on various JBoss projects, currently Infinispan and JBoss AS. I used to lead the Weld project (CDI RI) and also Seam, and have worked on other projects such as RichFaces and Arquillian. Currently I am also leading the CDI 1.1 spec.

The wiki http://java.net/projects/el-spec/pages/Home contains these resources. We'll also be using the svn repository in the project for the reference implementation. It currently contains a snap-shot of the RI for EL2.2 from the glassfish project. The EGs are not required (but welcome) to contribute to the reference implementation. As we make progress, it would be convenient to build the RI and try out ideas.

I was (and still am, I think, though inactive) a Tomcat committer, mostly on JSP container. Now I work (part time) in the web container (including JSP and EL) of the Glassfish project. I was an EG for JSP 2.0 and a spec lead of JSP and EL 2.1 and 2.2.
