About Empty Named Children

When you create a UIX XML page with pageLayout or a UIX XML page with Header, Footer, Navigation elements, the new page displays in the UIX Visual Editor with empty, named boxes. These named boxes are the names and positions of the pageLayout named children that can be placed in the current page.

Note: In the Design Structure Window, named children are represented by folder icons, for example:
