Deploying J2EE Applications

Deploy your packaged application to a target server through an application server connection, or as an archive file. A packaged application will contain a deployment profile that names the files to be deployed, describes their organization, and specifies the target server.

Many deployment details depend on the type of the target application server. See Working with Application Servers for information about specific servers.
