Deploying Business Components Subprofiles

An ADF Business Components deployment profile (a .bcdeploy file) consists of several subprofiles which you can deploy separately.

For example, a profile named MyProject can have the following subprofiles:

MyProjectCommon contains files shared between the business components and the client
MyProjectEJB contains the business logic in the EJB session bean
MyProjectMiddleTier contains the class and XML files.

To deploy a Business Components subprofile:

From the Application Navigator, expand the Business Components deployment profile:
The subprofiles will be shown.
Right-click a subprofile and choose a deployment option.
