The process for deploying a JSP or ADF UIX web application that is based on the Oracle Application Development Framework (Oracle ADF) is similar to deploying any web application in JDeveloper.
Note: To deploy UIX applications to the BEA WebLogic application server, see About UIX Deployment to WebLogic.
To deploy an ADF web application:
Running the installer need only be performed once for the target application server. However, you must be sure to complete this task before attempting to use the deployment profile to install the application.
Create the deployment profile to package the ADF web application:
Right-click the generated deployment profile, and choose Deploy to | <application server connection>.
JDeveloper packages the web application as an EAR file and deploys it as J2EE web modules on any J2EE application server. JDeveloper also provides additional integration with Oracle Application Server with one-click deployment.
