NetBeans VWP and Woodstock are great projects, but there are some things
that bother me (I'm using NB 6.1, NB 6.5 beta is crashing):

- VWP:

   - Performance (seems to be improved in NB 6.5)
   - Navigator almost never works (seems to be fixed in NB 6.5)
   - No visual support for Facelets (don't know about NB 6.5)
   - Components like Masthead and ContentPageTitle are still not in the
   Palette
   - Dynamic fetch of binding attributes, so when the binding attribute is
dynamically created I can't visually edit my page. Instead of that dumb abc
on the component, it should only show what is inside the text attribute,
like #{something}. I think it would even make VWP faster. (seems to be fixed
   in NB 6.5)

- Woodstock:

   - Lack of AJAX. Dynamic Faces just doesn't works with it.
   - Some components could be easier to use, for example its complicated to
get Table's selected rows and to use a determinate progress bar.
   - I know this seems to be related to dojo, but what about Firefox 3
   support?
   - Some bugs take a long time to be fixed
   - It could have more components, such as drag and drop, effects, modal
   panel and others

I think AJAX issues will solved with JSF 2.0, but until there...

About other issues, since there no news, I'm worried as well.

I'm seriously considerating switching to RichFaces. I'll wait JSF 2.0 to
decide.
