I know that this is an OpenSource project. And I really appreciate it.
And of course I am willing to help.
But being OpenSource is not an excuse for delivering poor quality.
And in that case, it is poor quality. Maven itself does not allow you to
release a piece of software if there is a dependency to a SNAPSHOT version.
So I think somebody had a hard time to force Maven to create a release
with that dependency. And since the Jersey release has been published
five days after the 1.0 release of Abdera...
To make things clear: I am really thankful for all the work you put into
Jersey. And while I appreciate the project, I want to propose polity to
keep the focus on the (boring but necessary) "basic stuff".
If there is any help needed to improve the Maven build, I'd appreciate
to help.
