I am an Expert Group Member, but that old Java.net list (which now won’t matter any more) did not properly have me on, so I could only Reply to the users alias.

To be clear, my message was directed at EXPERT GROUP MEMBERS.

Others are free to join, of course, but it's the expert group members who NEED to join.

Also, the umbrella "javaee" group is just the gateway/enabler that allows you to join the sub-groups.  The sub-groups is where all the discussion will occur.

I subscribed to the "umbrella" group and it was approved.
Also did to a few of the EE 8 JSRs I am in the EG like JPA or JSON-P, happy to join the EE Spec sub-group, too.

As far as I can tell, NONE of the Java EE 8 platform expert group members
have subscribed to the new mailing list at groups.io.  Please go to
https://javaee.groups.io and request to subscribe to the javaee group.
Once your request is approved, you then need to subscribe to the
javaee-spec subgroup.  Don't forget this second step!

This java.net mailing list will be shut down TODAY so it's important that
you subscribe to the new list immediately.

Thank you.
