Java EE needs greater integration at some corners. I think CDI is the
perfect technology to do this (I might me wrong here). This is for Pete
(and the CDI 1.1 EG) to answer but I feel CDI should stay the pluggable EE
technology that it already is, but at the same time become more and more
the cement of EE specifications.
