Firstly, I wouldn't recommend upgrading GF3 to GF4 without trying your apps
in a GF4 environment. Secondly, can you talk a bit more about your use-case?
Stating that "it is very hard to re-configure the entire server" is too vague
to discuss this further. I for one have upgraded - reinstalled - some servers
very easily and in no-time.
