System:
Windows 7 Ultra 64 bit.
64 bit 626 jvm.
Eclipse Oracle oepe 64 bit.
Glassfish 3.1.1.
The following bug is reproducable.
Start Eclipse, start GF in server tab. Open admin console via right-click
on gf in server tab.
Admin Console opens in the Eclipse edit area. No problem yet.
[Do anything in admin console and ] Simply close admin console tab via click
on X.
*CRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The ENTIRE ECLIPSE IDE INSTANCE (with
Glassfish, open Java editors, and anything else) DISSAPPEARS!!* As if Eclipse
wasn't started. (Except for a hanging Java instance in task manager.)
Nasty bug which can cause loss of coding changes in other tabs.
I tried it several times. Happens every time.
