thank you for your brilliant explanation.
But in fact I was not deploying a different app with the same name. Instead,
what I did was:
asadmin deploy --retrieve . My.ear
asadmin undeploy My
Compile again My.ear after fixing some bugs
asadmin deploy --retrieve . My.ear
The WAR mentioned in the error message was contained in both My.ear releases.
So I am uncertain what to do now? I think it is a problem, otherwise GF
certainly would not tell me, but how to fix it?
