Is glassfish-resources.xml bundled along with the application ?
eg: META-INF/glassfish-resources.xml in an .ear or
WEB-INF/glassfish-resources.xml in a .war
Can you post the domain.xml snippet which has the resources configuration ?
It looks like the resources are not available.
You can also post the output of :
GLASSFISH_HOME/bin/asadmin list-applications --resources --subcomponents
