I note that you didn't delberately shut down the broker. Does the /broker
/log give any information about why it shut down?
By default in a non-clustered environment this would be in
domains\domain1\imq\instances\imqbroker\log under your GlassFish
installation.
Have you tried restarting the GlassFish instance? This would restart the
broker.
