Briefly, a JAX-RS application should be able to find resource classes in an .ear file's lib directory jars. This doesn't happen in Glassfish 3 and up. It looks like the bug has languished after Paul Sandoz did some excellent work to investigate the issue. I'm going to play bad cop and ask: what's going on with it?
