i dont know about "clusters" -- but i have easially used netbeans to connect
to/deploy to/ a remote glassfish v2.x, as8.1, as8.2,
etc -- remotely.

simply config the glassfish as a remote server -- thru the netbeans gui. i
assujme it should work with gfv3 also.
