I found that Sun's installer for GlassFish doesn't work with native x64 JDK or JRE. But, if you install x86 JDK on Windows x64, it would. It seems that this caused by installer rather than Glassfish (have you noticed that Windows x64 version of installer isn't provided on download site).

I will try today to use x86 JDK for installer to run, configuring glassfish to use x64 JDK afterwards. Like it's said in:

 But it is not so obvious for me, because I want to run Glassfish as Windows service. So it will use native windows program (bundled with GF) to do so, interacting between windows and jvm, and I wonder if x64 JVM is supported here.
