From previous posters having problems with Vista, please try:
1. Disable any firewall and see if that fixes your problem.
2. Check what localhost is set to. Vista seems to stupidly set it to something other than 127.0.0.1.
3. Try connecting to 127.0.0.1:8080
I don't know what you're expecting to see on port 8080 but I suggest you first try connecting to the admin screens on port 4848 first (
http://127.0.0.1:4848) because that will at least tell you if GF is running OK (which it appears to be from your logs).
