I have a (as in one (-: ) computer to learn solaris and webstack. So here is what I am thinking; I will install the glassfish webstack as an independent running as a intranet server and, I will install netbeans as a IDE platform to work with. I know netbeans comes with all that I am asking but from what I observed before is that when netbeans closes it will stop the glassfish server. This I do not want to happen and that is why I want to install them as separate entities. Is this the best way?
