For Virtual server solution I find this one:

In order to use properities(allow or deny ip) on virtual server.

The problem become, how can I deploy directly on some virtual server by configuring application.xml or other descriptor?

For the https/certificate solution I think that is the best solution!
But unfortunately people who implements the webservice client may have more difficult on implementing it.
