I am pursuing this problem for sometime now. I have configured a glassfish cluster with two nodes & configured the adminapp & admingui with ldap. I am able to login to admin console as well as the remotejmx (
http://hostname:4848/web1/remotejmx) with ldap credentials without issues.Kumarjayanti helped me with the details
However, after ldap configuration , nodeagents don't start & any remote asadmin commands don't work . Nodeagents fail while trying to synchronise with DAS & remote asadmin commands say "Exception in thread "Thread-3" java.lang.SecurityException: Admin user does not belong to the required group."
Note that there is no asadmin group defined in LDAP . Do we need to ?
Or is the jmx authentication looking in files for finding memberships?
