thank you very, very much for your quick help and the link: It was the same problem. I just renamed the downloaded distribution file and then installation worked fine.
I think the problem is with the browser. I used the browser from my internet provider (t-online) that uses its download manager for large files. And this tool
changes the name of the file into:
java_ee_sdk-5_05-windows.exe&File=java_ee_sdk-5_05-windows.exe
Cazy. Time to use a real browser.
