we have tried the same client on a XP-machine with
set JAVAWS_VM_ARGS=-Dsun.net.spi.nameservice.provider.1=dns,sun
before starting the javaws ..... the application starts without delay ... so i think it's a problem of the reverse lookup in the
com.sun.enterprise.naming.SerialInitContextFactory
this bug disqualifies the glassfish for use with rich-client's over webstart !
is there a way we can switch the nameserviceprovider from application ?
