Re: app-client + jaas + swing = I am confused

I'll answer the injection question first - I did try with injection, but being honest, I am looking at converting one of our main apps over from the hodgepodge of evil that it is, to using glassfish.
The program is somewhat large - somewhere in the range of 150 UI panels not to mention the logic behind them. While the injection would be nice, I don't particularly want all that floating around (if i understand correctly that it needs to be initialized at startup)

currently using jnlp lookup

the closest I could find int he bug db was
https://glassfish.dev.java.net/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=2398

Which I suspect might be the issue you are referring to.
you can find my beat up version of the original proof from Peter attached to this post.

both glassfish servers are vanilla installs, although I would be less then surprised if its something simple I am messing up. This is my first real chance to get the time to delve into application servers.

Thanks for the help so far, and thanks in advance.
Dan
