I'm sorry, I didn't think of the only arrangement which didn't have broken grammar (in the context of having clicked [b]Deploy[/b] per Step #6):
Select the option called [b]Local packaged file or directory that is accessible to Application Server[/b] and click Browse Files. Navigate to the install-dir/samples/quickstart directory and select hello.war.
