Can that plugin actually check availability of certain web context or jsp page? For example mod_jk only checks server availability, but can't check applications. If its the case, then usage of such plugin for load balancing is flawed, since you could have the application server working, but the context not (lets say web.xml was damaged and glassfish can't start the context).
