GlassFish is an open-source Java EE 5-compliant application server project and community. The source code is the same source code used for the Sun Java System Application server product.
As for the JNLP document, the host and port in the JNLP are generated at runtime based on the host and port in the incoming HTTP request that asks for the JNLP document. (Among other things, this allows support for load balancing and failover.)
What specific build are you using?
If you can, you might want to download a recent GlassFish build and see if the problem occurs there as well.
