Yes, I see the same delay the second time as well. In fact, I have created a button to invoke the web service and every time I click the button the app waits for about 25 seconds for the web service invocation to complete (when run through Java Web Start).
Anyway, I was just wondering why there is such a difference - whether it's a result of some misconfiguration or a bug. I'll try profiling, thanks for the tip.
