Packager build performance improvement changes have been checked into trunk workspace today. You should notice significant improvement in packager build time (I experienced almost 90% drop in packager module build time on my build system but your mileage may obviously vary...).
Please let me know if you notice any regressions when it comes to distribution content or packager build behavior since packager build approach has been significantly changed. I did compare distribution content before and after the change and QL tests are passing but I may have missed more subtle issues.
